I have used this MT6510 chainsaw with a 20" bar and compared it performance against a Husqvarna 555 chainsaw with a 20" bar. Both chains are 3/8" .050". The wood used for the test with a 24 " fir log and 18" white oak logs. The Husqvarna 555 had similar weight to the MT6510 and seemed to be a little faster cutting the fir log. Using both machines I had to cut the log from both sides. But both cuts were respectable in time and performance. The MT6510 though not quite as fast as the 555 cutting the fir log showed no decrease speed when facing the 18" white oak. The 555 begins losing its power after a 24" bar and the same type of chain is used. The MT6510 can use up to a 28" bar which the 555 would fail at. The MT6510 clearly has mor torque and has respectable speed.
